  1. DISABLING PASSWORD PROMPT ON START-UP - WIN 10

I have seen a number of posts about disabling the password requirement on Windows 10 on start-up and as yet have seen no viable answer to the problem of the OS continuing to prompt for the password after its requirement has been turned off, in settings/accounts and by using the netplwiz command.

It used to work, intermittently, until the latest Win 10 upgrade. Previously, when the password prompt appeared, I could re-boot the PC and the password prompt would be by-passed. Now it prompts for the password every time the PC is turned on.

A previous reply to this problem, a problem which was posted by many other users, stated that when logging in to a Microsoft account, the password requirement could not be by-passed, but this has not been the case until now Windows 10 Pro build 19041.572.

This has been a long-running problem in Win 10. When will it be fixed?

    :)
