Windows 10: Disabling Proton-VPN Permanent killswitch outside of App

Hello,I had activated the permanent killswitch in the Proton-VPN Windows10 App.I than deleted the App without deactivating the Killswitch inside the app because I could not use the app properly after it updated itself for some reason.Now my PC cannot connect to the Internet eventho it is connected to the router and every other device in the household has an internet connection. With and without the App installed on my PC.The issue with the Proton-VPN killswitch is that I only know how to disable the permanent-killswitch inside the App.But I am not able to log into the App without Internet. No Longer Show VPN status where Wifi Connection status is Located. It WAS there, but it is NOW Gone.

My name is Mohammed Shuaib, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to assist you with the issue of Proton VPN icon not showing in next to Wifi option. Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.

Step 1:

Go to Searchbox next to Windows icon and type Taskbar settings

Step 2:

Under Taskbar settings scroll down to see Notification area

Step 3:

Then click on Select which icons appear on the taskbar

Step 4:

Then from the list select the Proton VPN and select ON

Please let me know the status after performing the above.
