Windows 10: Disabling "Show animations in Windows" setting no longer works after upgrading to 19045.4780

I've noticed that the "Show animations in Windows" setting and/or the "Animate controls and elements inside windows" Advanced Performance Setting no longer control the animation of scroll bars after upgrading to OS Build 19045.4780 animation is always enabled. This behavior is different from 19045.4170. Is this change intentional or is it a bug or is there now another setting to control animation?-jeff

Office disables Windows animations

I've had this problem with Office 2007 and still have it with Office 365 under Windows 10 on different computers. Under certain conditions, opening multiple Office documents stops Windows animations from working, even though Windows settings still shows
that animations are enabled.

To replicate the problem:

• In an Office document (I've tried it with both Excel and Word) insert a link to another Office document.
• Follow the link
• When the linked document opens, Windows animations no longer work - you need to go to Windows' Display settings and turn 'Show animations in Windows' off and back on again to restore animations.

Note:

• The problem is only apparent when linking from one Office document to another - linking to a PDF file, for example, does not cause this problem.
• I haven't checked whether ALL animations stop working - the one I've noticed for sure is the animation when switching from one virtual desktop to another.

Although not a life-threatening bug, this is still an inconvenience.

Animated cursor no longer works.

• Right click on the Start button, click on

• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Cortana isn't showing it animation
