Windows 10: Disabling V-Sync

How do I disable v-sync for all game modes? I despise input lag, and it's why I switched back to Windows 7.


Almost all borderless full screen games are affected by this, and a large amount of exclusive full screen games are, also.

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

 

How to use Adaptive V-Sync

NV Control Panel doesn't actually say, do you have to enable Adaptive V-Sync in NV CP and also enable normal V-Sync in a game to make it work or is Adaptive V-Sync fully independent?

I'm asking because when I tried it with it enabled in NV CP and disabled V-Sync in Killing Floor 2, image was still tearing like insane.

It's even more confusing because Fast V-Sync works by only enabling it in NV CP and it just overrides everything, even if V-Sync in games is disabled. So, I'm a bit confused now...

 

Even after Uninstalling Hyper-V - msinfo32 shows "A hypervisor has been detected"

To address your concern, we suggest that you disable the Hyper V services. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Type Services on the search bar.
• Right click one Hyper V service, then select Properties.
• On Startup type, choose Disabled.
  
  
• You have to disable all the Hyper V services one at a time by following the same steps.
