    Disappeared files after windows 7 restore attempt


    Hi everyone, today I have finally made the jump to windows 10 after years on using Windows 7, I have a bug issue now and I need help! So before the switch, I did a backup on my Windows 7 laptop, and now on my new pc when i tried to restore the backup right about when it was finished, it failed to restore all my stuff, and the app closed, when I checked disk space its used quite a bit, but I can't find a single file that was backed up! It's all gone, what can I do to delete or make all of them appear again? I'm really lost and don't know what to do

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

    Windows XP PRO error after restore

    System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.
