Windows 10: disappering files i thought

so im pretty good with computers i grew up around them windows... so im trying to learn how to dj so i need my own tunes on lacie rugged external HD.... ive listen to the HD for years never had a problem with it until now..... i can listen to any song i have on the hard drive as long as i go through the file explorer then select it to play on the media player well when i try to import tunes to "transitions dj" app from lacie HD its blank af again thats when i try to add music to the "transitions dj" app.... plz remember i can access my tunes thru file explorer but not "transistion dj" app.

Bijoy, just in case it makes a difference, I don't think you opened the command prompt as Adminstrator. Here's what you should do:

Click on Start, then when the menu comes up, start typing "command prompt". Once this shows, right click on it, then choose "Run as Administrator". Now, follow das10's instructions.

Note the top line says Administrator: Command Prompt. Also, disregard the first three lines, as I messed up the first attempt. *Redface
