    Disassociate files


    Right now .jar files only open using windows explorer, trying to remove the association without assigning a new app to open it with. I want it so that it has no assigned app or system that opens it. How can I do that?

    How do I DISassociate a file type in Windows 10?

    I inadvertently associated a .lst file to open using my Adobe reader. I have followed all the steps you suggested and deleted everything listed. It still shows that Adobe is the default app to use with the file. Any other suggestions?

    How do I DISassociate a file type in Windows 10?

    I am having this problem with a .pes file (machine embroidery). I need to disassociate it from a file type, however, I have tried the various suggestions and it is still associated. I want it associated with unknown application. Would greatly appreciate

    Ok so i was working on a cfg file for a game and i needed to edit it for one reason or another and to do so i opened it with notepad and forgot to click the button to not make this default opener so now the game wont launch with any languages so i need
