Disc Usage REALLY High. Tuning it up - It's getting better, but need INSIGHT with WINDOWS 10 PRO Tuning


I recently Installed some programs that were killing my RAM. I have uninstalled them, and have IOBit System Care which showed my disk usage was extremely high. It's still high - I am killing services that I know are unnecessary Cortona, etc..


I have 2 real-time Antivirus programs running which I feel are necessary McAfee - suggested by HP and IOBitAntiMalware. I don't trust McAfee as much as I do IOBit, it catches more stuff. They are both resource hogs.


At first, I thought it was the RAM that was impacting my start-up processes. Maybe it was - but the uninstall totally fixed that problem YAY!!!, but now that I see the Disk usage is really high- I want to get this down lower too...


I am going to contact HP support about the startup, maybe they have some insight, but this issue has the potential to be both hardware HP and/or Windows, I believe.

I've run all of the general CMDs SFC/SCANNOW, etc and have come up with no 'system issues' and I've run full virus scans on both McAfee and IOBit - no viruses.


ANY SUGGESTIONS on what I can do in Windows 10 Pro to improve this situation? Experts, please help!

• What is the complete error message with respect to the memory when you are trying to access games?

This issue might have occurred due to applications or services running at the startup on the computer. Bad sectors on the hard drive or outdated and incompatible drivers might also cause such issues.

Very high CPU usage and WPR trace

High RAM usage since 2+ weeks from first installation of Windows 10. Also high Disc usage recently.

It has been about a year since this started. I've searched through many internet forums and found many solutions. They usually resulted in fixing my RAM usage for about a month. There is something not listed in the Task Manager eating loads of my RAM I used
to have 20-30% RAM usage with or without Chrome active, now even without Chrome opened I have 70% or more.

High disc usage has been a trouble for me since middle of this month so not for too long. It's at 3-9% most of the time but even if I use a program that isn't too heavy on the disc I'm having difficulties loading it, it takes more time. I've wondered why
it is so so I checked Task Manager and to my surprise most of the actions I take on the computer will explode my disc usage to 98%. For example my disc usage skyrocketed to 100% when I tried to chose a file to upload as a picture to this site. While high disc
usage isn't as much of a problem it is still a problem and it wasn't. Due to the RAM stuff is why I can't live.

I'd like to avoid poolmon because I could not get it working. I can provide information with Windows Performance Recorder, but I need help setting it up. I'm not sure which things I should tick on and which I should tick off on the scroll list on the left.
The tutorial I've read on this site didn't help with that. I've tried hit&miss with some things but my computer is struggling to open most of the files in this program with loading getting stuck at around 70-80% so I could really use a hand here. I am no computer
expert so if you ask me to do something don't be mad if I don't understand something and require an explaination. Please help, this is giving me cancer, I'm considering more and more installing Windows 7 back.
