Windows 10: Disconnecting, restarting, BSOD

Hi,


I’ve recently had issues with BSODs after win update, so I rolled the system back and paused the updates for a month.

Everything was going fine until about 2 days ago.


I was cooking, so I did not see what actually happened, but I came back and my PC disconnected all peripherals and most likely restarted itself and got stuck on the BIOS screen.

I restarted it and went on with my day.


The following day my PC disconnected peripherals again no restart this time so I was forced to restart it, then I went on with my day again and it got disconnected + restarted itself again. So i rollbacked the system again.


I went on to play WoW today and I got a WoW error related to memory, turned it back on and got a Memory Management BSOD, booted PC again and got System Service Exception.


I tried updating Windows, but it wouldn’t update at all 8000ffff i believe

sfc /scannow won’t let me scan for some reason, chkdsk showed no issues, win memory diagnostics showed no issues either.


I do not have dump files as I was unable to replicate this issue. Any idea what it could be?


The issue with wow error into BSOD has occurred about a year ago, it turned out to be a **** ssd wire and windows files just getting corrupt every now and then.


I’m honestly desperate, Windows update keeps breaking my PC 70% of the time, and now without the updates it gets broken as well..

Disconnecting, restarting, BSOD

Hi,

I have recently encountered a problem related to keyboard/mouse disconnecting.

I was cooking and therefore PC was idle and when I came back, PC was stuck on the BIOS screen, but it wasn’t actually booting, keyboard and mouse were both disconnected.

I chose to ignore this as it was just a one time thing and hasn’t occured again, however, today it happened AGAIN, so I restarted PC. It booted as usual and then while I was playing games, it randomly disconnected everything again and then restarted itself,
only to log in and get a memory management BSOD.

I cannot provide Minidump file, as the PC wouldn’t have booted after the BSOD (had to restore the system)

Any advice, please? I’ve been encountering issues earlier because of the windows update and I uninstalled it, paused the updates and everything was fine until now.

 

Random restarts

when you start the computer up press F8 repeatedly until you get a list of how to start windows, choose do not automatically restart on system failure. if your getting bsod's list what your getting here so we can further help you. IF the system is not getting bsod's and still restarting as you say then i would look into getting a line conditioner for your computer as you might be having power issues.

 

OS drive disconnecting while in use

Okay so my SSD (listed in specs) keeps disconnecting itself while my desktop is in use. What happens is I'll be sitting there and suddenly progams stop working and crashing. Then Task Managerwwon't come up, followed by more programs and background services and then a BSOD.

When it reboots the SSD isn't listed until I disconnect the power and boot it. Works for a bit, then drops again.

Halp plz. I'm missing out on WCG crunching.
