    Hey Reddit,

I'm using a cloud service called Tresorit for my cloud storage needs. I'm on a premium plan which offers 200 GB. I'm currently using 11 GB of that. This is accurate and its whats reported in the web application. In Windows however, it appears that I only have 118 GB and that I'm using a lot more than 11 GB. Any idea why it might be reported incorrectly in Windows? Is there a logical explanation? Is this normal?

  2. Windows 10 Storage Discrepancy

I have Windows 10 Home Premium with the April 2018 update installed on and Acer Aspire tablet.he

I have noticed and odd discrepancy in the reported used and free space between the C drive properties and the Windows 10 Storage app in Settings.

The afforementioned C drive properties reports the C drive as having 21GB of used space and 7.41GB of free space.

The Windows Storage app in settings is reporting slightly differently with 21.7GB used and 7.38GB free

I also have a Micro SD card mounted which does not appear to show any discrepancy in the reported storage space.

    Any ideas for the discrepancy?

    Regards,

  3. How to add Cloud Storage Provider to Windows 10 Navigation Pane

I want to add Stack Storage to my Windows 10 navigation pane, as is shown here. So I want it to appear just like Dropbox and OneDrive. Now, obviously this is a 'guide' already, but since I don't have any experience with the registry, I hope someone could help me out on a few points.

    1. In step 1, How do I generate this CLSID? Sorry, but I really don't know. Also, should the curly brackets remain?
    2. In step 2, I assume I can provide a path to a .dll starting from C:\ ? Then, how do I know what this identifier should be, which is 1043 in the example?
    3. In step 6, should I change that second ID that is in curly brackets?
    4. In step 8, Can I also start the path from C:\ here? So I mean it would be something like C:\Users\iris_\stack
    5. In step 10, I don't really understand how to set all these flags?

I really hope someone can help me out with these points.
    Thanks in advance

Network Attached Storage in Windows 10

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing Network Storage Drive after upgrading to Windows 10.

Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Disable anti-virus software and Windows Firewall.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install
other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Follow the below steps to turn off Windows Firewall:

    • Press Windows + X, click on Control Panel, select
Category and then select Large or Small icons.
    • Click on Windows Firewall.
    • Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    • Click Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended) under each network location that you want to stop trying to protect, and then click
      OK.

    If the issue still persists,

Step 2: I suggest you to reconfigure the NAS drive and check if it help.
