Windows 10: Discrete gpu is trigger on opening/closing Settings, Task manager, and Action menu on...

I have a gaming laptop with a mux switch running on Windows 112200.493. Every time I try to Open Settings, Task manager or action menu for quick access, my dgpu is trigger which cause 2 seconds delay before the programs respond for use. It's really frustrating and annoying at the same time. I know that this problem only happen on device that have two gpu but can Microsoft do somethings to improve windows 11 experience on gaming laptop. Or is there any working solution to this specific problem?

Trigger Task Scheduler by connection and disconnection of a wireless headphone

We understand that you want to trigger a task in Task Scheduler when you connect headphone to your PC.



We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Connect the headphone to the computer. Now, press
   Windows key + X, and select Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Bluetooth, right click on the
   headphone and select Properties.
   
3. Click on Events tab, you will find 2 events.
   
4. Click on the Device started event and click on
   View All Events.
   
5. An Event Manager window will open, click on
   Attach Task To This Event on the lower right hand side.
   
6. This should provide you the options to create a new task. Select the Actions for the program to be run based on the trigger.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

 

Start Menu opens and closes suddenly

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to make your start menu work and check if it helps.

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
• Click File > Run New Task
• Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
  
• Type Powershell
• Type the following 2 commands in the Powershell prompt:
  • $manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifestand press Enter.
  • Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"}and press Enter.
• Close the Powershell window.
• Reboot.
