    Hi, and appreciate your help on this annoying issue.Recently I have had an issue resuming work on applications like Photoshop and Sketchup when my System wakes up from sleep or due to inactivity on the application, and I believe it is affecting all application that requires the Geforce GPU. So when this happens I have to restart / or disable and then enable the NVIDIA GeForce MX330 , then everything works fine until the computer goes to sleep or for inactivity on the application...     How to force Edge use discrete graphics?

    Hi,

    You may try the following steps and check if the issue persist.

    • Right clicking on the Desktop and selecting NVIDIA Control Panel
    • Navigating to the Control Panel and searching for NVIDIA Control Panel
    If you don't have it installed, make sure you have the latest NVIDIA drivers.

    Under the NVIDIA Control Panel, navigate to 3D Settings -> Manage 3D Settings. Select the
    Global Settings tab and use the Preferred graphics processor drop-down to select
    High-performance NVIDIA processor. Then hit the Apply button. You may need to restart your computer.

    Hello, I have a gaming laptop with 2 graphic cards which is Intel and Nvidia. There are 2 options, Switchable graphic or Discrete graphic. What are those and which one is better? Thanks.
