Windows 10: Discussion: How much better would a 256 GB SSD on a Windows 11 laptop that's 80% full work...

I think I'll need a new Windows 11 laptop not over $399.99 plus 4-year protection plus 15 months Microsoft 365 Personal plus a 6.0% sales tax on all of that, preferably from Amazon for Christmas 2023. I haven't been my happiest about my Acer Aspire 5 I got Apr. 1st. I'm currently leaning toward ASIN B08HCFKCSC. I will most likely get it by the end of 2026 to enjoy 250GB Norton 360 Premium Plus.

Discussion: Will 256 GB SSD Windows 11 laptops not over $369.99 plus sales tax but free shipping become more common next 3 years, especially for Amazon Prime members? (Thursday, August 4, 2022)

I may need a new 256 GB SSD Wi-Fi 7, also known as 802.11be, Windows 11 laptop for Dec. 25, 2025 or within 36 months of that Christmas, preferably in S mode. Reason being, moving my iCloud Photo Library to Norton Cloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, MobiDrive, mail.com Cloud, Box Drive Personal Pro, or Amazon Photos as I eagerly await to be able to order more than 200 GB of iCloud storage for $2.99 a month with no 6% 18901 sales tax. Maybe Apple will start offering a 500 GB plan for $4.99 each month or something like that to attract more customers.

 

windows 11 problems on samsung pm991 ssd

Hello every one,

I have a dell G3 15 3590 laptop with Samsung pm991 256 Gb SSD drive, the system was working just fine on windows 10 , recently, windows updated to windows 11.

the system become unstable and many problems started to appear like extremely slow start , slow performance, start button not working, settings are not opening.

I've tried all fixes possible except that upgrading the driver or firmware of the SSD drive as it's not available.

I can't rollback to windows 10 as I exceeded the 10 days period and also the settings are not opening to allow me to go to recovery to rollback.

I've tried to reset the system and tried to remove windows update without any improvement .

any suggestions ?
