Windows 10: Disk 100 % high usage when I started updating to 21h1 through update assistant

Yesterday when I was updating to the new 21h1 update, the windows update assistant got stuck at installing at 99. When I opened the task manager the disk usage was at 100. I had enough space before updating. Then I restarted my laptop still the disk usage is 100. And when I opened the assistant it s showing downloading windows update . So I had to again download the update. But in settings the feature update to 21h1 is showing downloading 100 % but not installing. Please help me. I don't know what to do.

In the Task Manager, under Performance tab, the disk utilization reaches to 100% due to which system became lagging and unresponsive. It started freezing in few moments and this keeps happening until disk usage reduces from 100%.

Control panel > Power Options > Edit Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings > Processor Power Management > Maximum Processor state.

Also, once I start Chrome 64, it uses lots of cpu and ram to do absolutely nothing.

Windows 10: 100% disk utilization in the Task Manger after Start up.

This issue might occur if there is change in system settings.

To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

• When you say that "it goes back to a higher usage", is hard disk percentage increases to 100% percentage or up to certain high level? Is there is any variation in hard disk percentage when run different application on Windows 10?
• When you say that "problem saving u post them for others", what are the troubleshooting steps which you have tried to resolve the issue?
