Windows 10: Disk at 100% even after refresh start

Hey,


I have a real problem with my disk as it runs almost all the time at 100%. In addition there seem to be many duplicated applications in my task manager. I also tried to use the refresh start method in order to see if there is any change, though, nothing has changed. This problem affects my work, as I am using R a statistics software. In addition I also scanned my c, and no errors were found. I really need some help, as it gets me crazy this situation and honestly I don't know what I should try in order to deal with this issue.

Clean install, disk usage at 100%

I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

• Were there any recent changes made on you computer before this started happening?
• Were there any updates installed last night while you were using the computer?

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that
