  2. key board not recognized by recovery disk

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

As per the description, I understand that keyboard is not recognized.

I would like to know some information.

    • Keyboard is not recognized by recovery disk is it recognized normally?

    • Do you get any error message or error code?

    • What is the make and model of your computer?

    • Does it work in BIOS if it works in BIOS then might be the disk is Corrupt?

    Try the steps.

    Step 1:

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard and mouse.

Step 2: Change the priority in BIOS to CD/DVD. You will have to contact the manufacturer/OEM for assistance.

Disclaimer: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting
from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

Step 3: Once you are able to boot to the desktop, then change the keyboard layout and check.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-keyboard-layout#1TC=windows-10

    Step 4:

I would also suggest you to install the motherboard/chipset drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check if that helps.

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need any other assistance with Windows in future. We will be happy to assist you.

  3. Windows not recognizing ssd

Windows won't see the drive until it has been partitioned and formatted. Go into "Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management" and see if it's listed in the middle pane.

    Try method 2 under Windows 7 8 10 here:
Free to Remove Readonly Attribute in Windows

Method 2: Clear readonly status with Diskpart

In Windows 10, 8, 7 OS, you are also able to run Diskpart in Command Prompt to clear read-only attribute on any partition on your computer. You can follow the tutorial below:
