disk/CPU is constantly maxed what do I do

When I load up my computer, it’s loads a very slowly, and then is very unresponsive when I looked at the task manager apparently it is using 100% of the disk, even though there is no running applications. I looked at resource monitor and I find things like 53,000 total bytes per second this is fluctuating like for reading or writing the highest activity time constantly drops suddenly and then quickly rises back up. I still have over 13104mb of storage.

    :)

Overclock cpu max frequency constantly changing in task manager

    Hi,

I'm overclocking my Intel 8700k to 5Ghz and every time I check the current frequency in task manager the max is constantly changing. I have high-performance power settings on windows enabled and I have also disabled CPU state and Intel SpeedStep in the BIOS.
I also noticed that when using other tools to display my GPU and CPU performance they show my CPU max frequency is exactly 5Ghz, why does Task Manager constantly display a constantly changing frequency?

    Any suggestions?

    Much appreciated

CPU constantly at 100% in task manager

So you didn't understand. Change the active plan to some other plan and change max/ min processor state values (not CPU) to something other than min %100 and max %100

    Just as a test.

If that has no effect then I don't have other suggestions.

Nearly Maxed CPU, Memory, and Disk

My computer is pretty old now. I think it is around 6-8 years. Yeah. No taking this ole beast back anywhere.

Just to clarify again I had this problem while on Windows 7, I thought after wiping the system and such and having no fix, I would take the step up and upgrade to 10 and see if that did anything. But no, same as before.

I have added some parts of my system like you have. I don't know what brand my memory I have is. If you need this I can try find it at some point.

    I have 192GB free on C.

While running HD Tune my disk went to 100% but in the image below this time there is at least a reason for it. Whereas in my third image on my first post there doesn't appear to be anything?
