Windows 10: disk drive error

my disk drive not showing my files and folders. but have occupied the space

Files and Folders Not Showing on External Devices
Hello, I have this issue where the files and folders on an external device (such as an external HDD and USB) are not showing up, yet the device is visible. I only started getting this issue after I connected my USB to another computer which makes me think a virus caused this. Here's where I am at:

The drive in question is the "STEAM GAMES (F*Smile" drive. It shows up in explorer as shown:




And when opened, this is what's inside the F drive:




By showing hidden files and not hiding protected operating system files, this is what shows:




What I've tried:

• The command "attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d F:\*.*" returns this:

How to check disk drives for errors in Windows 10

Windows does have a habit of giving this error when a flash drive is plugged in, generally there is nothing wrong with the drive, so I always skip the disk checking and open the disk . . .

Unplug the Flash Drive and reboot your System.

Plug the drive back into a different USB port, does your system now recognise the drive

If not, try plugging it into another PC and see if it is recognised by that PC

If at any stage you get a Please Insert Disk, Please Format Disk or Disk is Write Protected error, your Flash Drive is probably fried, you will see solutions all over the Web, but none of them work, sorry!

I can't see the diagrams very well, weak eyes; have you already tried usb or dvd booting any kind of mini Linux and using its file manager to take a "look-see".
