Windows 10: Disk drive stuck in Read-only state despite diskpart claiming to have successfully cleared...

My D drive disk Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus is stuck in Read Only mode.I tried to remove read only via diskpart, and it said it cleared successfully, however as you can see from the screenshots Current Read Only State is still equal to Yes.Can anyone provide any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.

diskpart doesn't show disk

Hey,

I am trying to install Win10 on a mac book air.

However the diskpart does not list the disk even after reformatting the partition as NTFS per suggestion.

read through this solution but cannot move to step 1 listed in the solution by Ivan as that disk doesn't see that partition it was just able to reformat.

USB Flash drive Read only problom

I have a usb flash drive that I can't seem to write to. I have went through many attempts to remove this and have ended up on going to command promt and using the diskpart command to manualy turn it off. even though I do this, it will not turn the write
protection off. it even says "disk attributes cleared succsessfuly"

any ideas?

How to reformat USB Recovery Drive

Part of the commands and results were missing from the image.

Open adminstrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
diskpart
list disk
select disk #
(replace # with the disk number for the flash drive)
attributes disk clear readonly
exit


If the above steps work then you are set.
