Windows 10: Disk full even when enough space is available.

I was downloading something from torrent which was of 45 GB in size. My D drive had 65 GB space left. After downloading 28 GB, torrent reported that my disk is full. Same happened when I tried downloading a game with steam yesterday and even before that. Once I was extracting a large rar fileabout 100GB, it was about 114 GB in size after extraction and I had 170 GB free storage on the partition where I was extracting my content but still winrar reported that I don't have enough space left.Above screenshot was taken through treesize software after the error occured i.e after downloading 28 GB

One of the possible reasons why your disk space was reduced is due to an unallocated disk space on your partitions. For us to isolate your concern, we suggest that you check your device's partition. To do this, follow the steps provided below:

• Type Computer Management on Ask me anything and press
  Enter.
• Select Storage and click on Disk Management.

Try to run theSystem Maintenance Troubleshooter.

  Press Windows key + W and type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select view all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click System Maintenance,
  follow onscreen instructions.
  

I suggest you to run Check Disk which performs an analysis of the disk. Refer to the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type chkdsk /f and hit enter.
