  1. Disk Permantly Maxed out Normal?, for low end drives?

TLDR at the bottom if you don't like/want my writing style/extra info. Hello and Thank you for your time. I have been upgrading my pc a lot lately trying to find the "bottleneck"figuratively on my pc and upgrade it to overkill. The part I will be upgrading is my Hard Drive. It's some 1tb Seagate hard drive you can find for 20~ dollars and it will be replaced by a 970 EVO SSD 1TB - M.2 NVMe. Since I am upgrading I am doing a lot of research on how hard drives work. Something I thought was normal might not be normal after all. Is Disk speed always meant to be maxed out 24/7? This is something I always see on my pc no matter what's running. The numbers displayed range from 2.2-4.7 and will always be followed by 100%. Will this disappear after I make this overkill upgrade? Also, I am hard-pressed to find a read/write stat for my old hard drive or any HDD card as I would like to have the info that my "Hard Drive" is "x" times faster. Can anyone give an "x" speed "range"?

TLDR-Is Disk Speed always meant to be maxed out 24/7? Will this disappear after I make the overkill upgrade? How "fast" read/write is any old 1tb Seagate drive worth around 20$.

Disclaimer. I am not looking to fix any issues on my current hard driveCheap Seagate. If these issues can migrate to my new Hard driveSSD M2 I would love to squash them. I still want to know whats going on with the Seagate

    :)

Was commenting on the pic in post #21. Not suggesting anything. It just looked like the step you were doing was incomplete.

Disk Permantly Maxed out Normal?, for low end drives?

    Low disk space drive J.

I can see drive J on my computer but do not appear to be able to free any space even though auto optimisation and defrag is set. What is drive J? I do not have a connected external drive and so it must be a partition in the hard drive - who put it there?
what is it use? I use disk C so really do not need another disk - can I safely delete it? How can I do that? it keeps popping up saying low disk space and it is annoying. Any suggestions or help?
