    Disk showing 100%


    Hi I have been trying to find the solution to this problem for a while. Now and then when I start my PC the disk shows (through task manager) that it is operating at 100% even when there are no apps running. It seems like a fairly common issue and yet none of the solutions I can find through doing google searches fixes the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I never thought I would say this but I think I am done with Microsoft... looks like my next system will be Mac.

    Clean install, disk usage at 100%

    I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

    If the Task Manager shows the disk to be at 100% utilization despite a light or no workload, and the system may experience lag or become unresponsive this could be due to software complications or driver issue. To sort out performance issue, we suggest following
