Windows 10: disk space keeps shrinking

hi

my disk space on my hard drive keeps shrinking, i did a factory reset and its back to normal

but now its shrinking every day, i have installed nothing on it except chrome and firefox and just use it for browsing. i read to disable sys protection and del restore points, but im still missing 100gb

i used whiztree but cant see where this missing gb are

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Run Disk Management. Open Run Command (Windows button +R) a dialog box will open and type "diskmgmt.msc".

In the Disk Management screen, just right-click on the partition that you want to shrink, and select “Extend Volume” from the menu.

Locate your system partition — that’s probably the C: partition. Right-click on it and select “Shrink Volume.” If you have multiple partitions on your hard drive, you could also choose to resize a different partition to free up space.

Taking into consideration that the free space is shrinking fast, it is possible that your system is creating restore points. To
delete restore points except for the recent one, simply follow the steps below:

• From the Cortana search box, type Disk Cleanup and click on the first result.
• Once the Disk Cleanup window appears, select the
  More Options tab.
• Under the System Restore and Shadow Copies column, click on the
  Clean up... button.

Once done with the steps, see if your disk space has expanded.

undo partition shrink

Hi,

If you accidentally shrink the volume of your SSD partition, there is an option to extend the volume as well. To extend the volume of your SSD partition, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard and select Disk Management.
• Right-click the partition that you want to expand and click Extend Volume.
• Select the amount of space that you want to extend.
