    Hey Team,I uninstalled a bunch of games off my C drive but no space has been freed up at all. should have freed up around 200GB but i got nothing. Whats going on here?I've defragged, i've done disc clean up, i don't know what else to do or where to look.

    Can't uninstall game from Game Pass

    -Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

    The game folder can remain just storing your game progress and data, it takes up practically no space, unless you noticed that after uninstalling no disk space was freed up.

    Go to Windows+R > appwiz.cpl > press enter > search for the game, right click, Uninstall. If the game is not on the list, it has been uninstalled.

    [Solved] Disk Space not freed after uninstalling a game on xbox app on windows.

    Hello,

    i uninstalled the game Final Fantasy 15 via xbox app on windows, but the 80+GB disk space were not being freed.

    I looked in the "WindowsApps" folder and there was a FinalFantasy folder, taking up 80+GB of disk space.

    Unfortunately I am not able to delete this folder.

    I gave me permission to enter the WindowsApps folder, but when I try to delete the FinalFantasy folder, it says, that I have to get permission from the SYSTEM.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling the xbox app didn't work.

    Can someone please help me in this matter?

    I have a similar issue. I had sunset overdrive installed on my C drive.
    Game was not working, tried to move it to my E drive, but it failed to move. (it took up space on the E drive and C drive kept the same space like the game never moved).

    Uninstalled the game successfully. the space on my C drive and E drive remained unchanged.

    I restarted my pc.

    went to the following folder location:
    C:\Users\Username\Appdata\Local\Packages

    I do not see a sunset overdrive folder.

    How do i free up the disk space from the game i uninstalled?

    it is occupying disk space on two drives after uninstalling it.
