Windows 10: Disk surprise removal error [Windows 11 Pro 22000.593]

lately while playing games that on my game drive WD_BLACK P10 Game Drive i am getting a sudden crash of both my games and my game clients. looking in the event viewer i am seeing some error messages i have never seen before, along with a disk error saying disk 2 surprise removal. let me state right now that physically, the drive is secure located, and the cord is not being bumped. nor is it being unplugged.I am not sure why windows is saying that the drive is disconnecting. Windows is not making the usb device connect/disconnect sounds, so i really don't know what is up. i will paste the er

I feel stupid, I didn't know SSD have firmware updates *chuckle

Error test came up fine but look at the raw read error count after the test and restarting my PC, WTF??



Do you think it's just a false positive and should be ignored? I think that with these values my PC should be unstable and I should start having corrupted files (which luckily doesn't happen)

That's weird *Huh
I did not try to reset SMART data and haven't updated BIOS since I first built the PC.
All of my important files are in the cloud. I mainly use this computer to game so there shouldn't be much to back up.
I ran chkdsk yesterday when I was trying to figure out what's wrong. Everything came up fine.
HDTune says the same, unless I'm reading it wrong

Hi,

Running a fresh install of Windows 10 1903 (with 1909 update performed making ver: 18363.476) and have noticed this error in event viewer:

Disk 3 has been surprise removed.


But I don't have a disk 3:

I've seen forum posts that this may be related to HYper-V/VMWARE but I'm not using any VMWARE?
