Windows 10: Disk Usage at 80-100% after just opening the computer and Windows Update looks stuck see...

What other possible ways can I troubleshoot this?As seen below the Installing - 20% has not moved at all, and the disk usage is at 100% even before I was updating

What I meant was that I know exactly on what minute the computer hard disk will go to 100% usage and then the computer will get stuck. So I looked at the Task Scheduler to see if there's any tasks that are scheduled for that minute or a little before it and I saw none.

When it happens, Task Manager shows disk usage of 100% but no process is taking more than ~0.5% of usage.

I tried to chkdsk.exe and it made me restart my PC. so I did, but then chkdsk was stuck on 28% for a long time and then reboot.

That is strange, because usually at least 3 Windows tasks run nonstop.

When you open Run and enter:

perfmon /res

Does Disk show anything on top, suggesting a high usage? Disk I/O would be shown in MB/sec.
