    ok, im getting very frustrated, i have re installed winodows, ran disk checks done so many methods and none have worked! My pc is still frezzing due to this issue which isn't uncommon! Surely someone knows a fix for it?!?

    50% DISK USAGE

    Could you open Start, type: problem reports

    Hit Enter

    Are there any pending or failed reports listed?

    If so, try clearing all of them.

    Restart then check if your disk usage returns to normal.

    Hi, I'm having this issue and my computer works slow, no matter what program i am using, not pass over 50%, always stuck in that number, but when im not working the average is between 1 and 50%, depends what i do on my computer, actually im doing a windows
    performance recorder, because i don't find the original issue.</p><p>Before I thought it was my HDD because using Crystal disk info, told me my HDD wasn't healthy, at that time my computer was very slow than now, so I changed my HDD, it says healthy, but i

    Off the chart (literally!) disk usage

    Glenn, we would like to check if you are still experiencing a high disk usage on your end, if yes, we would like to ask if you can try to follow the steps below for as a workaround:

    • Go to Start menu and select Settings
    • Select System
    • Select Notification & actions
    • Then turn off all notification and check if disk usage would still get a high usage.

    Let us know how it goes.
