Windows 10: Dislike Windows 11 - Taskbar?

This is the worst upgrade version!!!!! I'm curious if anyone can share how to click on the taskbar to open up anything that is already open but hidden? I minimize my windows i.e. chrome, email, word document while working on another item. Then try to select something as done previously on my taskbar double clicking too but nothing works!!!! I either hover over it and have to select "something" from the huge list...... I wish they would not make drastic changes as they did with this version SMH.........

Before I'm going to try Windows 11

The Windows 11 taskbar is an annoying step backward | PCWorld and more.

I think I'll just wait for Windows 12 *chuckle

 

internet explorer 11 taskbar not grouping and invisible IE HELP!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I suggest you to reset Explorer.exe and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below.

    Right click on the taskbar and select task manager.
    
  • 
    In the process Right click on windows explorer and end the task
    
  • 
    Restart the task by clicking on the file and select new task
    
  • 
    Type Explorer.exe and press enter.
    

If issue still persists, I suggest you to reset Internet Explorer and verify the result.

Change or reset Internet Explorer settings

Disclaimer: Please note that resetting Internet Explorer Settings will reset all user-defined settings including those set by installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons to IE Defaults. This includes all Security,

Windows 10 Taskbar sometimes on top of full-screen applications

I suggest you to change the Screen Resolution and check if this helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

• Press ‘Windows ’ key on the keyboard.
• In the search box, type Settings
  
• SelectSystem > Display > Advanced display settings.
• Under Resolution, select a new value. We suggest you stick with the resolution marked
  "(Recommended)”.

Also try locking and then unlocking the Taskbar and check if this helps. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click an empty space on the taskbar.
• If Lock the Taskbar has a check mark next to it, the taskbar is locked.
  
• If it does not have a check mark, click Lock the Taskbar.
