Windows 10: DISM.EXE /StartComponentCleanup vs /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase

Hi all Back in the first days after getting Windows 10 Laptop, I invested quite a lot of time regarding reducing the size of the C: partition. One of the things that helps reducing the size of the C: partition, is cleaning the C:\Windows\WinSxS\ folder I have 2 commands that I saved, regarding that: The first: dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup The second: dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase I wonder: What is the difference between them? From Microsoft's documentation for DISM.EXE I could not figure a difference. A second question regarding that, does #2 include #1 in it? (meaning, If I run #2, then I don't need to run #1 in addition?) Thank you very much

This Command Prompt line does not lock in current updates, meaning you can still delete them after running this one v and cannot after running the one above^

Hi .

Im running Windows 10 Pro x64 (1909 ) buid 10.0.18363.628

When I run the command :

dism /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

It stuck at 20%

and I get Error: 5

Access is denied.

In the dism.log I see this lines ...

I want to say the when I use the commands

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

this comands works successfully , but when I try dism /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

then error: 5 Access denied

I would like know what cause this issue . and fix it
