Hello Everyone,My name is Abhishek, and I found Error while Execution of below command and I used cmd prompt as Run as Admin.DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthFirst of all, I wanted to Execute the above command because , recently I got an Bluetooth Error in my Windows 8.1 Laptop. I couldn't find Bluetooth in Device Management Section. So I tried so many tutorials and tips to get back Bluetooth. But none of them were successful. I did installed Bluetooth driver also and nothing happened. So , I tried to Execute the above command to solve the Bluetooth Error. But I got Error instead. The

How to get damn DISM to work?

Yes, I have the image mounted, the same bloody image I've used to install the OS I'm just using. This is absurd. I've tried this:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:E:\x64\sources\install.esd
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:E:\x64\sources\install.esd:1
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:E:\x64\sources\install.esd
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:E:\x64\sources\install.esd /limitaccess
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:E:\x64\sources\install.esd:1
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:esd:E:\x64\sources\install.esd:1 /limitaccess

None of this crap works even though entire freaking internet is saying that this is the way to do it. Some even mention using quotas for the path which makes no difference (It doesn't need it anyway since there aren't any spaces anyway.

I just can't understand how can OS integrity check tool feature be dumber as years pass by instead of being smarter and more useful.

Redownloading 4 gigs of stupid image because the one I have apparently isn't good enough. *sigh*

 

DISM RestoreHealth Question ==> error # 0x800f0906

My HP 8100 Elite Computer currently has Build 1607 installed and won't update to Build 1703

Recently when running the DISM RestoreHealth command, I get an error # 0x800f0906 thrown; and a note about unable to access the 'source' for evidently restoring some issue encountered...... I have been running the DISM sequence for months on this machine;
and don't recall seeing this message before.......

At this link is an article last updated on 10-13-2013 (four years ago) and which says it applies to 'Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Server 2012.

However, I am running Windows 10 Build 1607.......

So whats next step here in doing a RestoreHealth on this machine; and finding the 'source' requested by DISM RestoreHealth?????

Following an out of date article targeted for systems which I am not running seems like a path I'm not readily trodding down.......

Windows Store doesn't
