Windows 10: DISM Restore Health Command Results in Error 14, Not enough storage is available to complete

Will try to make a long story short...Windows 2016 Server running Exchange in a DAG. After applying Windows patches and the last CU, the operating system went through some type of corruption. Through various searches and recommendations, the following commands have been run many times, with some eventual degree of success.1 Renamed SoftwareDistribution folder to recreate the Windows patch database. Patches running fine now.2 sfc /scannow many times. Eventually, all corrupt files have been repaired and there is no integrity violation.3 DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /Che

DISM - Parameter "Cleanup-Image" is not known (error 87)

To troubleshoot your concern, we suggest that you run DISM Restore Health command. Refer to the steps provided below:

• Open Command Prompt (Administrator).
• Type the following command:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

3. Press Enter.

DISM Restore Health Error

Unsure if this is the right forum so apologies if not. Been doing my weekly maintenance and came across this when running DISM commands:





Basically the "Restore Health" says No component store corrution has been found etc" but it only went up to 99.5%

Has anybody ever had this before?

 

Dism /ScanHealth Results in Error 1726


When I run a 'Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth' command, I get the following error after reaching the 20% point:

Error: 1726
The remote procedure call failed.

I also had the following errors in my dism.log file:

Any thoughts? The '/CheckHealth' option worked fine, but I had been having issues with 'sfc /scannow' which led me to trying to see if Dism might be able to resolve things...
