    DISM STUCK 82.3%.


    I've been trying to install Ubuntu on my Windows 10 using WSL and for that, I needed to enable the WSL feature in "Control Panel > Programs and Feature > Windows Features " but I got "0x700800C1". I tried to enable this feature using PowerShell and DISM command but I got an error saying: "%1 is not a valid win32 application". Then I tried running these commands to fix the problem with DISM:


    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth


    the first two parts worked ok and the operations completed but for the last command operation stocks at 82.3%. I tried closing the terminal and run them again but it seemed DISM is still working on the last command because it didn't do anything. When I tried rebooting the window it also stuck on the "Windows is getting ready don't turn off your PC" message. Is there any other way to enable the WSL feature without resetting the OS or reinstalling it?

    DISM - Parameter "Cleanup-Image" is not known (error 87)

    Hello Eric,

    To troubleshoot your concern, we suggest that you run DISM Restore Health command. Refer to the steps provided below:

    • Open Command Prompt (Administrator).
    • Type the following command:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    3. Press Enter.

    Windows 8 to 8.1 upgrade stuck on 82%

    I got a hand-me-down computer that was on Windows 8, when I upgraded it 8.1 the “setting up” thing is stuck on 82%. I searched and a lot of them said to unplug my charger, I did, still 82%. More searching, nothing. So now I have a Lenovo Laptop that is
    on Windows 8, in the process of upgrading to 8.1, unplugged, stuck on 82%

    Ok it actually manage to complete the upgrade after being stuck 22 hours at 82% amazing
