    Dismissing Pop-up Notifications, makes my Windows 11 PC switch over to MS Edge by itself.


    I'm Re-Submitting this question: When I Dismiss Pop-up Notifications on my Windows 11 PC, it switches itself from the browser I'm using, over to MS Edge.Screenshot: shows what an Independant Advisor instructed me to do, and what my results were.

    Dismissing a notification make my PC switch browsers to Edge.

    When I dismiss any notification or alarm, my computer switches to MS Edge from whatever browser I'm using. This happened on my Windows 10 PC and is now happening on my Windows 11 PC. I thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello,

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Open Microsoft Edge.

    • Click on (…) at the top right corner.

    • Click on settings.

    • Click on View Advanced Settings.

    • There you will be able to manage Pop ups.

    • If you don’t want then you will be able to turn on/off.

    MS Edge freezes PC when playing a video

    I recently purchased a PC with W10. I have both MS Edge and IE 11. If I play a video in MS Edge, it freezes my PC and I have to use the power button to reboot. However I can play the same video in IE 11 with no problems....

    Any suggestions?
