Windows 10: Display Adapter Code 43 and Video TDR Failure

I got a new prebuilt pc and when I booted it up, it was working fine. A few hours later my pc kept crashing with the video tdr failure as well as the display adapter error. I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers but the problem stays persistent. I am unsure of what more to do. Does anyone know a way on how I could fix this problem?

HDMI doesnt work after video tdr failure BSOD (code 43)

Hi!

I have Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN with RTX 2060 and I just had a single video TDR failure BSOD which now results with a persistent code 43 error next to my GPU in device manager and ojn top of that I have no connection to my external monitor anymore. Monitor is of course fine, I have checked both the HDMI cable and the monitor on another laptop.

As for the TDR BSOD and code 43, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, including using DDU. Didnt help, after each reboot 43 is back.

Now after googling about the code 43 problem I understand it is about either drivers or hardware fail. How can I check if the hardware is the problem?

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with Video TDR Failure error after upgrading to Windows 10.
Now that you have me with you let me take care of this.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• Were you able to see any error code along with the error message?
• What is the make and model of your device?

TDR is the Timeout, Detection, and Recovery
component in Windows. What happens is the Graphics Display driver for the installed graphics card stops responding. When this happens, windows will stop and restart the driver to fix the problem.

The most common reason for this issue is that the graphics device is being overloaded or used beyond its capabilities.

This happens most often when playing graphic intensive games, but can happen with any process that uses a large amount of graphic resources, such as when editing or creating videos.

Step 1: I suggest you to
Run check disk (chkdsk) and check if it helps.

Chkdsk: The
Chkdsk (Check Disc) scan will try to identify and repair bad sectors found on the hard drive. Any data present on these sectors might be lost in the process. The computer can also go into a no boot state. Proceed at your own risk.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard, click Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  chkdsk /f
• You may be asked whether to schedule this volume to be checked next time when you restarts (Y/N).
• Press Y key on the keyboard and press
  Enter key.
• Restart the computer and check.

Step 2: Update Graphics Driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right click on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

BSOD Win Stop Code Video TDR Failure atikmpag.sys

Hello everyone,

I have really big issue here. One day when i using my pc, it gave Video TDR Failure error then i startup a new clean Win 10. In dxdiag my display card shows Microsoft basic display, but i have ATI Radeon HD 8350 (OEM) and i cant update my display driver.
When i try update this,it gives same error Win Stop Code Video TDR Failure atikmpag.sys.. Can someone help me about this issue?
