Windows 10: Display adaptor error: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the...

I have just built a new PC and this error appears after having installed Windows 11. Could anyone provide a solution into how may I solve this problem?The error appears under Display Adapter -> Microsoft Basic Display Adapters.This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. Code 31 The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter.I just installed the latest updates of the OS.Please help me solve this problem.

Error accessing Change Adaptor Options Windows 10 Pro 1803

When you go here in control panel, do all of your network devices show? Any with a red x that may not be working or disconnected like the 3 devices in my screenshot? There's a strong possibility like @bro67 was trying to get at, is that one of your network devices is not properly installed. That's why he suggested reinstalling a driver for that device.

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.



Method 1:

Check if there are any errors listed in Device Manager:

• a. Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand all the devices and right-click on the drive.
• c. Select Properties and check if the device is working properly under Device Status.

Method 2:

If the device isn’t working properly, there will be an error listed with a yellow exclamation mark. Please get back to us with the error.

Here’s what you can try:

If there are any devices with errors, then update them:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand the device with the error and right-click on the drive.
• Click on Update Driver Software and click on Search Automatically.
• Follow the prompted steps and check if the issue is resolved.

Method 3:



If the issue still persists, I suggest you to uninstall the hardware driver and reinstall the latest hardware driver in compatibility mode from the manufacturer’s website and check, if it works.



Follow these steps to install the hardware driver in compatibility mode.

• 
  Download the latest hardware driver from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right-click on the setup file and click on "Properties".
  
• 
  Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
  
• 
  Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
  

In the device manager, please ensure to update, uninstall or reinstall mainly Display adaptors, videos driver and Bluetooth drivers to fix your issue

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
