Windows 10: Display alignment error 3 Displays

Using 3 Displays I'm not able to align the displays properly.


Displays 3 and 2 have different y positions.

When 3, 2 and 1 are in a line, 3 and 2 are aligned in the right way.

When you move 1 above 3 and 2, 3 and 2 are misaligned and it's not possible to align them properly.

The result you see is the result of trial & error for about 5 minutes leaving a misalignment of about 15 pixels.

Normally you get something like the first image misalignment about 100 pixels.

Non-Aligned Display in Windows 10

This issue with your screen alignment can be due to incompatible display driver. As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you update your display driver. Keeping your drivers up-to-date will ensure the quality performance of your device.
To update your display driver, you'll need to start your PC in safe mode, uninstall your current display adapter, and then check for driver updates. Here's how:

• Start your PC in safe mode, then right-click the
  Start button and select Device Manager.
• Expand the Display adapters section, right-click the listed adapter, then select
  Uninstall device. Select the Delete the driver software for this device check box, then select
  Uninstall and restart your PC.
• After your PC restarts, press the Windows logo key + I on your keyboard to open Settings. If that doesn't work, select the
  Start button and then select Settings.
• From Settings, select Update & security > Windows Update >
  Check for updates.

Once done with the updates, check if the screen alignment is back to normal.

Display was not migrated

Hi,

I understand the above solution didnt work so as to next step in solving your issue I suggest you follow the below.

Step 1:

Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Device Manager

Step 2:

Under Device Manager expand Display Adapter

Step 3:

Right-click on Adapters listed one by one and select Properties

Step 4:

Select the Drivers tab

Step 5:

Click on Uninstall Device

Step 6:

Repeat step 3 to 5 for all listed adapters under Display Adapter

Step 7:

Restart PC and verify

Can you set certain applications to not display on second monitor?

Hi,

This concern may be due to your display configuration. In order to resolve this issue, we suggest that you edit it by following these steps:

• Press Windows + I.
• Select System, and then Display.
• Under Multiple displays select Extend these displays.
• Also, your display screens should be aligned. See picture below for reference:
