    Display Apps in Full Screen View in Windows 10

    As said before, some games do not support playing in a window, only maximized or full screen, like Croc's World below:

    Others can be played in a window, so a "resume" button allows you to exit full screen, like Microsoft Mahjong below:

    It depends on the game.

    Hello Brink!
    I have a title bar, but since the 1511-Upgrade there is no "Restore"-Button on it. I have only "Minimize" and "Close".
    @spapakons:
    Yes, i understood very well, what you said. But on one of my games (Dragon Mania Legends) mentioned in my first post, there definitely was a "Restore"-Button in the title-bar before upgrading to 1511. After upgrading it was gone. So, something seems to have changed in 1511. Maybe it's a bug within the game.

    Did you move the pointer to the center of the top edge of the window border to see if you get a slide down bar?

    Well, I had seen that bug once, don't remember how it fixed. Maybe Dism and sfc would help. It could also be some update that fixed it. Start Windows Store and click on your account, select Downloads and Updates. Update anything found and could fix.

  6. Have you got tablet mode enabled?

    That button is removed from (most) apps when in tablet mode, as restoring an app to windowed state is not possible

    Francois,

    I just installed Dragon Mania Legends on my system to test, and it appears to be one of those full screen only games that can only be minimized/maximized or closed.

    Yes, but the interesting thing is: Before 1511 it was a "normal" App, that could be restored to window mode...really strange.

    Don't forget that Windows apps are frequently updated. Maybe last update canceled this option, so it is not due to build 10586. It could be the same in Windows 8 or build 10240 as well.

    No. Last update of Dragon Mania Legends was 3 days ago. Windowed-Mode definitely worked with this version.

    Whether it was the app updated or the upgrade to TH2 that made the change, that game is now a full screen only version. *Sad
