    Display Becomes More Saturated When Looking At A Dark Screen


    Every time I go to, for example, a website with dark colors, the saturation on my screen increases slightly before slowly going back to normal on brighter colors. My default color profile is sRGB v4. My device typically has trouble maintaining its color profile, for some reason. I have a Lenovo Legion 7. I don't believe it has started doing this before. Can this be fixed? I prefer to have a screen that doesn't change its saturation or color constantly, especially since I'm a digital artist. Thank you.

    Screen Randomly Saturating

    I've been having this issue for a couple months where on startup and just randomly, both of my screens will saturate. I have found that at times I can reset the saturation to normal by opening display in settings, but me opening settings will make both screens saturated. This saturation doesn't go away unless I open display settings and it effects my entire screen, no matter what game or app I have open. I've installed all of the latest drivers for my GPU and CPU and have looked at some other community posts but I can't seem to find a solution. If anyone could help with this issue that would be great.

    Specs:

    RTX 2060 Super GPU

    Ryzen 5 3600 CPU

    Tomahawk B450 MOBO

    16GB of DDR4 Ram

    Display gone dark


    My Lenovo Z500 updated to W10 and the display is now dark and hardly readable. If you press the up/down keys for display the little control pops up on the screen - the bar moves up and down but the screen remains dark and does not vary. In device manager there are two drivers - Intel HD Graphics 4000 and Nvidia GE Force GT635M. I have removed/uninstalled both and reinstalled from downloads from the Intel and Nvidia sites direct, rebooted and nothing changed.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the help Carlo, I tried all of the things you suggested but it the saturation is still occurring, did you have any other ideas on how to fix this issue?
