Changing display colors

Hi Susan,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community.

You may try the following:

• Click Start and then Settings.
• Click Personalization followed by Colors on the left of the screen.
• From the options available turn on the option that says "Show color on Start, taskbar, and action center".

Check if this helps. You may also change the Windows theme after making the above changes.

Color bit depth is at 6-bit on Display properties of Windows 10 pro

Try the below suggested steps and check if the suggested options are available to change the Color bit Depth value

1. Right click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
2. Expand the Display, and then highlight the Change resolution.
3. On the right side, check if there is 8 bpc listed under
   Output color depth.
4. You may select 8 bpc and restart the device to witness the changes.

Changing colors on Start, Taskbar, and Action Center

On the Personalization setting, I am not able to click open the option for changing colors on Taskbar, start and action center. What can I check to turn this option on? I am not tech savvy, so please give me step by step details. This is on Windows
10.
