Windows 10: Display Dim, can not adjust.

Discus and support Display Dim, can not adjust. in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I have been having an issue with my display for a few days.     Display Dim, can not adjust.


    I have been having an issue with my display for a few days. The display has been dim and can not adjust it. I have googled it and found a few options but none work. My drivers were already updated. I went to power options - change power plan - advanced power settings - display. all drop-down options except "Turn off display" are missing. Could this be why I can not change brightness? How do I fix it?

    Screen Display Dim

    Since I updated to the new windows 10 version, my display is quite dim. I go into settings to adjust it and it will not let me. The brightness is at full and the screen is at about 20%.

    Suggestions to fix?

    Hi,

    There's a possibility that this issue is due to the Display settings of your device. For us to isolate your concern, we'd like to ask a few questions:

    • Is it only happening when you connect your device to Windows 10?
    • If it's not connected, have you noticed certain activities wherein the screen dims automatically?
    • Have you tried using a different HDMI cable?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

    Display Dim, can not adjust.

    2600 display dims

    Apparently the 2600 display dims after 15 secs and annoyingly cannot be changed. Can anybody suggest what button to press so I get the display back up but not disturb what's on screen? Thanks
