Windows 10: Display does not duplicate or extend to ultrawide screen correctly

Hello, This has worked flawlessly for me previously, but now when I duplicate or extend my laptop, it treats the ultrawide screen as two separate screens. It is really stupid. Kind regards,Jimmy

Duplicate to extend multiple display control.

When I switch from duplicate to extend with multiple displays, how can I control which screen automatically shows what was previously on the duplicated screen?

 

Extending Screen to Laptop

Pressing MS KEY + P brings up PROJECT which shows display options PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only. After selecting Extent I then click on the “Connect to a wireless display”. Then I select my laptop that is listed.

That has worked well in the past, but the during a session a few days ago the connection dropped and I have not seen my laptop in the list since.

I have not found any steps to take that actually address this issue.

 

Duplicate and extend screen at same time

Hi, i have 4 screens connected with my laptop. I am trying to duplicate the laptop screen on 3 screens and extend on 1. Under display settings it only gives the option to duplicate desktop on 2 screens. How can duplicate the desktop on 3 screens and at same time extend to one screen?
