I just want to know if this random TDR is caused by my hardware or not. After turning on monitor , one time it will show TDR in event logs , second time not. Thats all.

You need to find your mini dmp file and submit that in the BSOD forum. Follow the BSOD forum guide lines for submitting the dmp file. Then then the debugging guru's check it out.

    My full spec
    6700K stock
    16 GB DDR4
    Asus Z170-P
    Corsair 750 RM
Gtx 1080 Ti Fe no oc , stock

During 3d full load not have single crash. But when i run 3dmark, turn off monitor , and then turn on again stress test will stop and that TDR crash can occur sometimes. So i dont know if its hardware gpu problem ?

  7. What wattage is your PSU mate? Im still thinking along the lines that the switch in display on/off is power related hence the TDR error. Windows can be quite basic when it comes to stuff like that........ If its having to draw power to the device it may have a slight delay, to windows that would point to the GPU being faulty as didnt respond in time?

Turning off and on the monitor will not change the PSU load. The display connection is a buffered high impedance signal connection. It sounds very unbelievable to me that the PSU is the cause, mate

    Psu is Corsair 750 RM,

In post #13 he lists a Crsair RM750x, which is Corsair's # 3 of the high end line...not bad.

  12. Decent that is, was thinking along the lines of it not being faulty. More the drawing of power to the device not being done quick enough and then windows expecting it to be on in a certain amount of time which maybe isnt happening hence the TDR when actually, there isnt anything wrong. *Smile

Me too....either the PSU or GPU maybe going bad or a driver related issue. With out the BSOD log file, there's no way to determine that.

Which goes directly to the link I posted.

I'm leaning towards a hardware/driver issue. Which is why I would like to see your device manger window.
