I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model RZ09-0409KED3-R3U1 which I got last year June 2021. It's been great aside for the fact that occasionally, when moving my mouse, the screen jitters, as in the pixels seem to all shake side to side. This usually begins after the screen turns black for a second and the screen seems to tear, showing me the same horizontal band of the screen stacked on top of one another, or just my taskbar repeated over and over. It goes away after a second but then the screen will start jittering side to side. I don't have a picture but here's basically what it looks lik

    External monitor display settings

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are facing issues with the display scaling on your external displays. We will certainly look into this for you.

As you are using Vizio TV, you may have to try using custom resolution settings if the in-built settings do not provide the required settings.

For better clarity, please let us know:

    • What is the version of Windows 10 that is currently installed on your computer? You can click on Search and type
      winver.
    • Are you aware of any recent changes to the system, such as updates, after which you are facing this issue?
    • What is the make and model of your computer?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to check the steps mentioned in the Workaround section in

Windows scaling issues for high-DPI devices

I would also suggest you to check the Display drivers. Please refer

Let us know how it goes.

    External Monitor with Quicken

    Hi Mark,

It is possible that the display resolution automatically adjusts after connecting to an external monitor. For us to properly isolate this issue, we have some questions for you:

    • Are you experiencing the same issue even without using the Quicken tool?
    • Have you checked if the display resolution settings of the Surface device and the external monitor is the same?
    • Have you tried checking for a graphics device driver update?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done to isolate the issue?

We're looking forward to your response.

See through window issues in External monitor

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We will need some more information from you to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

    • How is the second monitor connected?
    • Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
      Enter.

Since this is happening on the second monitor, I suggest you to try updating the Display drivers and check if the issue persists. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows key + X, and select
      Device Manager.
    2. Expand Display adapters.
    3. Right click on the display driver and select
      Update Drivers.

    4. Restart the computer if prompted.

Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.
