Windows 10: Display Driver stop working after Windows 10 update

I have updated display driver on my PC T3400 precision workstation via Windows 10 update, the driver was installed but suddenly the screen got black, i was facing the same issue with Windows 7 and i updated to Windows 10 to resolve the issue but still the issue is not resolved. I have uninstalled my graphics driver and now using the basic driver for graphics. The graphics driver details areNVIDIA driver update for NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290Please help me in this regard.

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Windows 10 error Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered

Display issues generally occurs due to outdated or corrupted display drivers. Many cases updating the display drivers help in resolving the issue. I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps:

Step 1: Update display drivers:

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

    Right click on Start button and click on Device manager.
    
  • 
    Select Display adapter and expand it.
    
  • 
    Right click on the Display drivers
    and click Update drivers.
    

Step 2: Uninstall and reinstall the graphic drivers and check.

Also uninstall and reinstall Graphic drivers.

1. Press
Windows key + R key.

2. Type
devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

3. In
device manager go to display adapter.

4. Right click and
uninstall.

After you uninstall the drives, I suggest you to reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturing website and check.
