    Display Driver Stopped Responding And BSOD When Not Gaming


    No matter what I try, nothing seems to work, any driver other than the basic display adapter causes the crashes and bluescreens and no matter which driver I try to use they all do the same. Windows always seems to download a version of the driver and a version of catalyst control centre when I restart my PC so I can't seem to stay using the basic adapter. The only way to use the basic display adapter now is by disabling the driver.

    Also the driver will randomly re-enable itself without me doing so

    Starting to think the only fix would be to reformat/get a new hard drive or something. There must be some some fault when it installs the drivers and so it causes the issue. I would reformat it right now but I've seen that a lot of people have these issues with the Windows 10 drivers and since there are no other drivers that I can use it means I am most likely stuck with this issue unless I go back to windows 7 and use an outdated driver which to be honest I really don't want to do.

    For the driver problem you might want to create a thread at the Drivers and Hardware section.
    I do not have much knowledge with this kind of problems *Sad

    Okay, well thank you so much for your help so far. I'm lucky I have a lot of patience, the majority of my friends were telling me to just buy a new hard drive already or buy a new PC

    A new hard drive won't help with driver problems related to a GPU.
    A new pc wouldn't also help much, there are a lot of people having driver problems with Nvidia and AMD GPU's almost the same as you.
