Windows 10: Display drivers for HP notebook 640G1

I have reinstalled windows a thousand times and even formatted my hard disk but anytime I update my display drivers my laptop goes blank, I will have to restart on safe mood and roll back the drivers to Microsoft basic display to get my pc working back and I can’t use it cos the brightness control won’t work. The update is intel Hd 4600. Please any fix for this

hp pavilion dv7 notebook pc display driver issue

Hello ,

Ive installed a fresh copy of win 10 on this laptop , but the problem is that graphic driver installed by windows makes a delay when I run the laptop , after the win logo , it stuck for about 30 sec on a black screen , then enter the logon screen of the windows .. Ive tried to use the driver given here :

and then try to restart or shutdown the laptop & run it again , the issue was disappeared , knowing that the driver that makes the issue has these information





so can you tell me please why this issue happened with this driver ?

 

battery not charging on my hp notebook

I see that your laptop’s battery is not charging. We would like to know, if you get a message stating plugged in not charging when hovering the mouse over the battery icon.



If you see the message plugged in not charging, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Battery.
   
3. Right click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, and select
   Uninstall.
   
4. Click OK to confirm.
   
5. Restart the computer.
