Windows 10: Display goes black randomly

My display goes black randomly, sometimes day apart, sometimes minutes, that forces me to restart whatever I'm doing to get the display back.It's not my Monitor since I swapped it out with a different monitor and it has the same issuesI looked into event viewer, and every time it happens, this comes upEvent 17, WHEA-LoggerA corrected hardware error has occurred.Component: PCI Express Root PortError Source: Advanced Error Reporting PCI ExpressPrimary Busevice:Function: 0x0:0x1:0x0Secondary Busevice:F

Primary monitor randomly goes black

Got a monitor issue. Looked at other posts about this issue be could not find anything addressing my issue. Over the past few months, my primary monitor randomly (no pattern to the issue) goes black but the led shows it to still be working. Secondary monitor is working. Only way to get the primary back is to reboot the computer. I tried reversing the DVI-D cable but no luck, primary still goes black. Regardless of which monitor is set to primary, that is the monitor that goes black. The monitor set as secondary never goes black. Any ideas?

 

Laptop display randomly turns black

My dell laptop display randomly turns black. Sometimes it goes for some time with no problem than it starts turning black every minute or so until it starts “blinking” and at last it’s black most of the time.
While it’s black I can still type and it will react to my input in the background.
The OS is windows 10. I reinstalled display drivers (downloaded newest drivers) and ran some hardware tests on startup.
Any ideas how to fix this.

PC goes into black screen and froze

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a software related issue which is why I was suggesting that you remove the video card to start with since it's such an easy process of elimination step.

I'm not familiar with AMD CPUs, I did see that you had listed in your system specs but I had no idea whether or not it has an iGPU

Is there any possibility of you being able to get your hands on any compatible video card at all?it would be the easiest step to try to troubleshoot or at least one of the easier ones. You should be able to get into the bios without anything but A display cable hooked up to the motherboard
