display has stopped responding and recovered

Hello so I got this message today on my Asus ROG G750JM laptop with Windows 8.1 and it is the first time I got this error on the laptop before.

My GPU is an Intel 4600 and a Nvidia 860m. I have downloaded the latest driver for my Intel GPU from the Asus website for my laptop.

Should I be worried or should I treat this as not too much to worry about since this is the first time I got this error after owning this laptop for 3 years?

    :)

The reported error stopped responding and recovered was related to Intel integrated GPU.
There were no BSOD dump files but windows error reporting displayed kernel error 117.
If this were a BSOD dump bugcheck 117 it would be a video TDR error.

From 12/28/2018 to date the display driver stopped responding and recovered was not related to Nvida.
The computer has 2 GPU, an integrated and a discrete.
The integrated GPU is Intel and has the name: IGFX The driver is igdkmd64.sys
The discrete GPU is Nvidia. The driver is nvlddmkm.sys

So should I be concerned or should I just pass it off as a once in awhile fluke?

The thread should be opened in the Windows 8 forum.
There they can make the decision.
There may be different methods of management depending on the support.
