Windows 10: Display ICC profile being constantly reset ? Try uninstalling MSI Center

Hi,Like many others, I was struggling since months trying to fix this problem. My color settings were OK and none of the proposed fixes worked. Until I decided to spend some time tracking what happened on the system at the very moment when the display profile was reset and discovered that MSI Center was the culprit probably the MSI True Color utility. I uninstalled MSI Center and bingo, problem fixed.Hope this helps.

icc color profile resetting in Win 10

I ran into this problem with icc profiles and Photoshop. Had to reset the default icc profile on every start or Photoshop would give me an invalid profile description error. Using a Dell with Windows 10. For me, the culprit was Dell Premier Color. Uninstalled
it, and problem was resolved.

 

ICC profile wont save


Hey guys,

everytime I try to use my ICC profile the display color changes for a second and reverts back to the default color. Im using the MAG27CQ from MSI and all the necessary settings to use own ICC profiles are set. My OS is Win 10 and I use DisplayPort.
I also tried running the ICC profile on DisplayCAL, same issue.

Appreciate every kind of help. Please tell me if any additional information is needed.
