  1. Display inputs no longer show after attempting to connect

After unsuccessfully trying to miracast my laptop to my Tcl tv, the inputs will no longer show up. I have tried to cast on two tv's and one Roku device but soon as I try to connect to any source the input disappears and I can no longer try to connect. I have hard reset my PC and the displays multiple times with no success.

  2. screen display

    Hi #10Rikweb2,

If your computer screen still shows up on the TV, then your computer may still be the current input source of your TV. To change it back to TV or use another input source, please follow these steps:

    1. On your remote, click the Home button to display the Home options on your TV screen.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Input or Input source.
    4. Select TV or a different source you prefer (AV, HDMI, etc.).
    5. Select Enter.

If the above steps did not help, then please allow me to gather more information by answering these questions:

    • How's your computer connected to the TV?
    • Are the devices connected via an HDMI cable?
    • Are they connected to the same network?

Please respond to this thread to let me know how the issue progresses. Similarly, if you have more questions, please inform me by replying to this post.

    Regards.

    Display Blank : Analog Input?????

My new PC has a blank screen with the message : 1. Analog input, cannot display this video mode.

I recently upgraded from Win8.1 to Win10 on my new Dell Inspiron. I have an older PC right next to it with WinXP. Both are using Dell flat panel digital displays. After the install I noticed that the default screen resolution made icons much larger than on the old PC with the identical monitor. So I attempted to change the resolution. When I set it at 1280x1024 to match the old screen, the icons were too close to the left edge and partly chopped off. So I reset it at the resolution suggested by Win10 (don't have access to the actual number, due to blank screen) but it was about twice the normal resolution. When it changed to the new resolution, the screen turned black and displayed the message above. Now my PC is unusable.

I don't know if the problem is with "analog input" or the resolution numbers, but I haven't found a way to go back to the original. I tried F2 and F8 and F12 during bootup. but so far found no way to change video display settings. F2 shows various setup options, but nothing about display. Holding F8 during boot-up goes to the blank screen instead of to Boot Manager or Safe Mode. The button on front of monitor does nothing.

I need help to return the display to its original settings. But without being able to see anything on the screen. Any suggestions?

    4870x2 won't display at 1680x1050 at all!

OK. Now I know what ur problem is. Step by step:
    1. Go to Catalyst Control Center
    2. Click on the word "Graphic" right on top left corner. It will display drop down menu
    3. Click on Display monitor and will see the list of monitor at near bottom
    4. Right Click the monitor and select "Configure". It will show up the window
    5. There will be 3 option to select. Select the middle one and then click on the tab which show the bar with 15%.
    6. Drag the bar to max, and the screen will stretch to the native resolution 1680x1050.
    7. Also click the tab with showing RGB drop down list and select the last one (it will change to image quality for pc).
    That's it. Good Luck.
